This is the one to buy for your ATV or motorcycle handle bars. I rolled my ATV and the ram-b-149z kept my GPS on the rack. It fits tightly and you can read the GPS while you are riding.

Another reviewer felt it was over-engineered and gave it a bad rating because of that, I don't agree with his rating, but I can see where he's coming from. The main thing I'd point out is that assembly holds the GPS a fair distance away from the handle bar which may be make or break with you (see video). I'm not sure how much vibration or shock a GPS unit can take, so I would have like to have seen some kind suspension or shock absorption considering it's size.

The housing looks durable but the mount is ridiculous for bicycle use. It would even be clunky on a BMW 1200GS or other tractor. Thehousing on it's own could be ok if it had a couple of holes for cable ties. Sadly it is overengineered.

This product was the answer I was looking for to mount my Garmin Etrex Legend handheld GPS to my ATV for trail use. The price was very much a factor in purchasing it from Amazon.com. It was received and delivered as advertised and it works GREAT. I can now trail ride on my ATV in the Michigan North Woods with confidence that I will find my way back.
