Great for the price! July 29, 2010 pjspelce (Texas) I have been GPS shopping for a loooong time! I am only 15 so my mom told me I shouldn't spend too much on a GPS, for I would only be using it for geocaching.... Let me just say this is a GREAT starting unit! It took a while to get used to the controls and all but after a few minutes, my GPS and I are now acquainted. If you are looking for a GPS with maps and navigation, this is NOT for you. This is for people that simply want to go somewhere and get back. It is great for getting you back to your car! The only problem is the battery life because it is drained by the backlight which is ALWAYS needed to be able to see.
Good basic GPS July 18, 2010 Gerald Selberg (Corvallis Or. USA) For finding your position in the outdoors this unit works very well. It is small and light so you can carry it climbing and backpacking without a problem. The accuracy is good and the unit easy to learn. It does not come with a cable to connect to a computer or very good information of what programs it will work with.
A little too basic June 1, 2010 Daniel E. Susany Pros: light, small, fast to fix
Cons: No screen to display current position...that's a must have feature.
Best to get the next model "up"
The only way to know your current position is to make it a waypoint
(storage of which is then optional)
Ok May 31, 2010 Mbeta It is a very good GPS and a good price for the people who are looking for basic GPS location.
Geocaching GPS Perfect and fun May 23, 2010 Florida mom (Florida) I didn't rate DU because I don't know what that is. My son loves this for just messing around and geocaching. Nice unit!
