Why not include the mount? July 29, 2010 driver This base can't be used without the mount so why doesn't the company include it. I didn't read the description carefully enough and had to reorder the mounting piece before I could use it. When I had both pieces it works great and holds the GPS in place well on the dash.

I have a Garmin GPS so have the dashboard mount. Wanted to move the GPS more easily and did not want it on window or stuck to dashboard. Beware! The joystick mount piece that comes with GPS does not fit into the base of the beanbag. It is too big. Order the beanbag with the mount.
GPS Dash beab bag mount May 30, 2010 Patrick E. Murphy Advertising for this product was misleading in thqat it did not clearly say the mount part was not included. Had to return and order one with the mountn from another source.
Great item April 29, 2010 CCRIDER (Illinois) The garmin beanbag is just great. You can take down and put it away when not in use. I think this item works alot better then the one that goes on the window. I recommend this to everyone.
Misunderstood description February 6, 2010 L. Cummins (Grants Pass, OR USA) I suggest you don't even offer this item -- bean bag ONLY. There is no way to get a mount by itself, so why even have this item. The required mount is NOT the one that comes with your GPS. In fact, the bean bag with the mount is cheaper than the beanbag only. Offering a "beanbag only" makes no sense to me.
The item is fine and works well. . . if there were a way to attach a GPS to it. The description in the display is misleading. We already had a mount that came with the GPS, but we didn't know it was different than the one required for the beanbag. We wanted a bean bag WITH the little post on which to mount the GPS. We got the bean bag ONLY and could not mount the GPS. When we phoned the help desk, we got someone who had such an accent we couldn't understand her and don't think she could understand well either, because I carefully described my problem and she assured we would get the right thing, but we didn't. We got another bean bag ONLY on our re-order. I had to cancel the order and start all over again.
