Purchased as additional Garmin nüvi 255W 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator car power cord for the wife's car. Looking at the original and this generic side-by-side, one could hardly tell which is which. Plugs into your lighter socket, and has enough length to reach about any location in the front of a vehicle.

I had my Garmin for less than a year before the cigarette adapter tip broke! I've had other cheaper adapters which get more frequently used and haven't had any issues with those. I'd look for a different manufacturer.

So far the device has worked for a few months on my Legend Cx. It is a must have for any car navigation as you will need to keep the backlight on. Seems to be a sturdy design. I would say it is a good buy for the price.
